What did you mean by "too good" to be rogues? Well, if you really want to know, I created both of them out of my personalities and behavior especially Louie. I'm the type of person who do things the way I want it to be done. I usually dislike following too much rules as I feel as if I'm being leashed or tied down. This is why I didn't like the Rescuer's guild as much as the Rogue's guild.
They are like: "Do this. BUT you should not do this and do that and do... blah blah blah laws blah rules and do this... etc."
Rogues make me feel free in what I do despite how people would see me. I really don't care. I do things my way because I like it not because it will impress someone's view on me.
I see. I guess that makes sense for why they would choose the Rogues instead of the Rescuers.
I guess what really defines the guilds is how each artist views them. For me, I view the Rescuers as the good guys, Rogues as the bad guys, and the Merchants and neutral, either good or bad depending on the team.
From my point of view the Rogues mostly consists of legal criminals, pokemon with either dark interests or dark motives. While the Rescuers are pokemon who do what they feel is right to help others regardless of who they are.
I personally don't see many rules in the Rescuers guild. The only rules that my team follows are their moral codes, the feeling to do whats right not because they have to, but because they WANT to.
